A LED light trail is done by one of the prestige government consultant Energy Management Service (EMS) up in New Castle in the 
central coast of NSW.  The trail is designed to promote the energy saving devices to reduce the energy consumption for the small 
business in NSW. 

The particular LED light used for the trail is Dowin 5x1w LED lighting D1010. This light has the same diameter with the traditional 
diachronic halogen lamp. It is designed originally to replace the widely used 50w diachronic halogen lamp. As the 50w diachronic
 lamp produced huge amount of heats for the risk of fire and melted letters under the lamps. While Dowin’s LED lights have 
the ‘cool light’ feature, and produce little heat.  

According to the Managing Director of EMS, the lux level on the desk can reach 470 lux. The owner of the business is happy 
with the effect of the LED lightings and its energy savings. Dowin’s LED lighting saves more than 95% of the energy 
comparing with the traditional 50w diachronic halogen lamp. At the same time, it can maintain the required light level for 
the office environment.  With its higher Colour Rendering Index, Dowin’s LED lights reflect more nature colour to the objects 
than the rest of the other lights. With its unique thermal management and design, Dowin’s LED lights can have the promise of longevity.
